Mamiko Nakatsugawa is a dancer, choreographer, model, actress, and yoga teacher from Miyagi, Japan.
Her unique style of dance, which is mixed with the classical elements and contemporary essence, allows her to share her work and collaborate with artists nationally and internationally.
As a dancer, she is danced with Jon Lehrer Dance Company for 3 seasons, and currently expanding her horizon as a dancer and working with various choreographers and artists. She has worked Taylor 2, Matthew Westerby Dance Company, and Rumbamena Dance Company and so on.
She also has worked for musicals and films. She has appeared in musical theatre such as Anne of Green Gables (Japan Tour Ensemble), South Pacific (Liat), Cabaret (Kit Kat Girls). She also has appeared in SAG-AFTRA film, Charlie Boy as Silky Sato.
In 2020, she received a certification as a Hatha yoga teacher (200hrs), and she has been teaching classes to the community to share her knowledge and offer a sweet blissful time for their wellness and joy to be present.
